The RHS Plant Review 2024

We’re thrilled to announce that our talented foundation member, Caroline Buckley, is the winner of the inaugural The Plant Review artist-in-residence competition!
The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) was looking for an artist to grace the pages of their magazines with stunning plant illustrations, and Caroline’s submission, a captivating portrayal of late summer flowers, stood out among the entries.
“We ran a competition to find an artist in residence to create beautiful illustrations for our RHS magazine aimed at plant fanatics,” announced the RHS. And guess what? Caroline be the featured illustrator for the frontispiece in all four issues of The Plant Review in 2024, and her winning artwork will grace the pages of the December issues of both The Plant Review and The Garden magazine. What an incredible achievement!
Published four times a year, The Plant Review delves deep into the bizarre, brilliant, and beautiful plants that flourish in gardens. If plants are your passion, this inspiring magazine is essential reading, and Caroline’s work will undoubtedly add a touch of artistic brilliance to its pages!
There were also SBA Fellow members as runner ups:
