We are delighted to see that the exhibition ” ” (They illustrate botany) has travelled to the beautiful location of San Sebastian in Spain, opening March 24th at Fundación Cristina Enea de San Sebastián. This exciting exhibition highlights the work of women botanical scientific illustrators from the 17th century to the present, revealing the relationships between art, science and gender. The exhibition values the number of women who have been involved in the processes of disseminating science thanks to the presentation of more than two hundred reproductions of botanical works in different formats such as drawings, engravings, photographs, sculptures, paintings and books.
