On Friday the 19th May, the DLDC celebrated the graduation ceremony for Course 18. Congratulations to all the students for completing their journey through the course. There were 48 diplomas awarded, 22 of which were distinctions. We had a lovely evening at the Mary Ward rooms in Russell Square, London where the graduates were presented with their diplomas and some were awarded with prizes too. Many of the diploma pieces were on show at the SBA’s exhibition Plantae 23 at the Mall Galleries. Here are a few photos of the evening and some of the wonderful student work on display.

Plantae and the DLDC 2022
Our open annual exhibition was a great success, with good visitor numbers and sales. Our DLDC (distance learning diploma course) had a fantastic display there with such a high standard of work from our graduates. The students also had a guided trip to the Chelsea Physic Garden in London and then Course 17 had its graduation ceremony in the evening. Congratulations to all our students. It’s been a busy week!!
SBA Diploma Graduation
The Graduation Ceremony for Course 14 was held at the Art Worker’s Guild, London on the the 19th July. 40 students Graduated from Course 14 and 24 students travelled from various parts of the World to attend the evening accompanied by their family and friends. It was a very enjoyable occasion to mark the ending of a long, rewarding experience throughout the Distance Learning Diploma Course for many Graduates.
Graduation Ceremony
The Graduation Ceremony for Course 13 was held at the Art Workers Guild in London on Saturday, 19th May. Family and friends looked on proudly as Diplomas were awarded by Course Director Simon Williams. Students from all over the world enrolled on the course: the UK, Hong Kong, Sweden, Australia, South Korea, Italy, South Africa, Japan, the USA, New Zealand, Singapore, Portugal and Belgium. The Award for Excellence for the highest achievement on the course at 98.35% went to Sunanda Widel. This was the highest mark ever received on the DLDC courses since Course 1. The Diploma Portfolio Achievement for the highest marks for the three Diploma pieces also went to Sunanda Widel.
