Called Flora of South East Asia, the exhibition is open to artists worldwide, as long as they join one of the four participating societies. The subject is any flora native to South East Asia (including fungi, lichen, and algae). Original artwork will be displayed at the new Botanical Art Gallery at Singapore Botanic Gardens, an amazing venue housed in the conserved and totally refurbished Gallop House, which was built in 1906. This is Singapore’s first permanent display gallery for botanical art. Artwork prints will also be displayed around the Gardens at the visitor centre entrances and walkways.
