Congratulations to SBA Fellow, Linda Alexander who has won The Alan Gourley Memorial Award with her painting ‘White Peonies in a Green Bowl’ at the Royal Institute of Oil Painters in their Annual Exhibition 2019 . This is on now until the 8th December at the Mall Galleries in London.

Christmas Tea
Lots of sparkling botanical fun for our Christmas get together at the Art Workers Guild in London. Great to see so many of our members there. We also had a special presentation by one of London’s leading Frame Shops, Store Street Framers on the ‘do’s and don’ts’ of framing and the latest trends.

Congratulations to all the ‘Masters of Botanical Art’ whose work is featured in Shirley Sherwood’s wonderful new exhibition ‘Modern Masterpieces of Botanical Art’ at the Shirley Sherwood Gallery, Kew Gardens.To celebrate the exhibition, there was a fantastic party on Tuesday evening.
