Sally Bunker Collection

The book ‘Portraits of Trees of Hong Kong and Southern China’ , which Sally Bunker SBA Fellow, co-authored along with Prof Richard Saunders of Hong Kong University, has now had a second edition, and has also been translated into Chinese.

Sally has finally decided what to do with the collection of over one hundred of the highly-detailed original watercolours from this book.
She did not want to sell them, nor want the collection to be broken up and disposed of individually, so in order to keep them together as one collection, Sally has donated them all to the Library of Chinese University of Hong Kong, who are delighted to receive them, and they will be kept as the ‘Sally Bunker Collection’. They will be digitized so they will be available for scientific study, and also kept so that in future centuries they can be evidence of how trees have evolved over time.

Information on the book is here and there are some testimonials about it at here.
