Congratulations go to all the artists winning medals at the RHS art and plant fair at the RHS halls in London.
Out of the SBA members there was Simon Williams, DLDC course director who won a gold medal for his ‘Nepenthes’ collection.
Christina Hart-Davies won a gold medal also for her paintings of ‘Common British Corticolous Lichens’
Sue Wickison won a silver-gilt for her paintings of ‘Plants of the Holy Qur’an‘
Maggie Niagassas, an SBA graduate won a silver gilt for her theme of ‘the plants of the Mediterranean’.
Michael Lakin won a silver for his paintings on the theme of ‘The Life Cycle of Edible legumes‘.
Unfortunately the paintings by Tomoko Nakamoto – ‘Irises in Japan’ were not judged as half the paintings are still in Customs.
