The RHS Rhododendron, Camellia and Magnolia Group

In 2025 for our ruby anniversary, the SBA teamed up with the RHS Rhododendron, Camellia, and Magnolia Group. We held a competition with our Fellow members to produce paintings of these three genera. The winners were chosen from a small group of judges from the RHS group and then all displayed the the Mall Galleries in London at our ruby anniversary.

We shall be holding the competition again in 2027 once again.

The winning painting was a watercolour by Yunjeong Kim SBAF – Magnolia sprengeri var. Diva
