Orchid: A Silent Dialogue Beyond Borders.

Scientific Botanical Art from Türkiye and South Korea.

A shared botanical heritage shaped by two distinct geographies, intersecting biodiversity, and a common passion for documenting nature…

Bringing together 39 scientific botanical artists from Türkiye and South Korea, this international exhibition project makes its first encounter with the public in Istanbul.

Orchid: A Silent Dialogue Beyond Borders focuses on the rich floras of both countries through the Orchidaceae (orchid) family.

Through field observations, botanical precision, and each artist’s distinctive visual language, the exhibition presents a dialogue between science and art, expressed through a universal visual language.

The result of a long-term process of research and artistic production, this selection aims to bring the delicate balance of nature and the timeless discipline of botanical art into dialogue with audiences.
