The Birmingham Society of Botanical artists has a show on at the moment in Weston Park.
Overall, in this exhibition, we aim to show the breadth and awe of the natural world through the ancient art of portraying plants. This began (and continues today) for medicinal and scientific purposes but also to showcase the beauty that nature brings to our lives. Pictures allow us to study these wonders and share them, so is a way of bringing nature more to our attention and into our homes.
The event is on at Weston Park, Nr Shifnal, Shropshire, TF11 8LE.
The Granary Art Gallery is open daily 11am – 4pm and is free to enter.
