Shevaun Doherty is an Irish botanical and natural history artist who paints in watercolours. It was whilst living in Egypt that she first became interested in botanical art. She enrolled on the SBA’s Distance Learning Diploma Course graduating with Distinction in 2012. She now lives in Kildare, Ireland and works full-time as an artist and art-tutor. She exhibits regularly in Ireland and internationally, winning many awards for her work including five Gold Medals at Bloom in Dublin, the Joanna Craig-McFeeley Rose Bowl and a Certificate of Botanical Merit.
