Purple Pitcher Plant Biography
Seong weon Ahn is a Korean botanist who majored in Oriental painting undergraduate.By chance, she was fascinated by a plants beauty and delicate painting, so she completed a botanical art course at the university’s education center and became a painter in earnest by winning two awards in the contest.Seong likes the sound and texture of coloured pencils, so she usually draws with this medium. She loves to draw various plants through the observation of interesting compositions, unique points of view and consistently studying their mysterious colourful expression.Starting with the 2019 Gold medal in The Botanical Artist Society of Korea Competition, she is continuing to participate in various international exhibitions in UK, US and Korea.
