The first time I came across Botanical Art was when I visited Kew Gardens while I was living in London. I became very interested in Botanical art so when I went back to Korea, I found a place to learn. Very soon, I was passionate about the art form.

Currently, I live in Seoul, the capital city of South Korea, and also in the countryside. When I stay in the countryside, I grow and observe plants in my garden. Gardening is not as easy as you might think, but it is well worth it. In every season I am moved by the ever-changing appearance of nature and I am inspired by it.

Observing and recording plants is still attractive and has become an important part of my life.

I mainly use watercolour pencils, but I am working on it in a number of other ways.

I will continue to be interested in plants and botanical art for a long time.
