Tulip Biography
After majoring in design in college, I did not draw for a long time while working. Since I started botanical art, I have focused more on painting than ever and am enjoying this time now.
If possible, I like to observe and draw plants that I’ve grown myself. Whenever the season changes each year, plant details like seeds, pistils, and dissections are observed under a microscope and sketched. These days, I am interested in plants used as medicines in oriental medicine.
