Bachelor´s degree in Biology from the Autónoma University, Madrid. She studied for four years as a post-graduate, at the fine Arts Faculty in Madrid, completing her arts training with three more years study at drawing academies and at the C.E.V. (Centre for Video and Image Studies). She studied graphic design at the C.I.C.E. (Professional school of new technologies) Since 1987 she has worked at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Madrid, illustrating for publications the aquatic plants of several regions of Spain and in some volumes of the Iberian flora.
