Biography

Painting artworks and teaching students about botanical art in my studio gives me such pleasure in my daily life. I love painting flowers that bloom on trees, such as magnolias or cherry blossoms and I’m also interested in beautiful plants that grow in the wild. Perfect and beautiful specimens can be found in nature, so I try to search for those aspects; natural curves and various colours.

Recently I completed the SBA’s DLDC 16.

I mainly work with watercolours, and I also enjoy working with a mix of pencil and watercolour.

In 2012, I formed a small group called ‘FLEMOUR’ with other Korean artists. We have been continuing with annual exhibitions.
