Christina Mucha

Christina has extensive experience in the Branding, Creative and Publishing fields. Her perseverance, enthusiastic nature, curious mind and artistic sense have always led her down an interesting path in the pursuit of her craft. Now connecting the dots looking backwards, she is grateful for all the experiences through work and life and what they have taught her thus far. “What you seek, is seeking you.” as the Persian poet Rūmī said – perhaps he was right about the mystery of life.

As a botanical artist and Plant Explorer, she is particularly interested in understanding how she can apply nature’s wisdom (particularly the medicinal properties of plants) to improve our overall mental, emotional & physical wellbeing through her works of art as well as exhibitions. She believes the future is in wellness and nature has a big role to play.

Renowned German photographer and sculptor, Karl Blossfeldt, once said “The plant never lapses into mere arid functionalism; it fashions and shapes according to logic and suitability, and with its primeval force compels everything to attain the highest artistic form.” Christina will continue to push the boundaries through her creative endeavours in botanical art, portraying the story of each plant accurately and aesthetically in a unique and personal way – she believes she is on a mission.
