Anneli lives in the countryside in Torshälla, Sweden. She studied technical illustration and Information Design at Mälardalen University in the 1990’s. For several years, she’s been working as a freelancing illustrator and graphic designer for publishing, advertising, and other printed publications. Her inspiration for her illustrations and painting comes from growing her own flowers and vegetables and spending time in her garden.
In 2017, she completed the Distance Learning Diploma Course at the Society of Botanical Artists with Distinction. At the Plantae of 2021, she was awarded Best use of paper of the Vintage Paper Company and was also rewarded an Exhibiting Excellence and a Certificate of Botanical Merit at the same exhibition.
Her most recent work includes illustrations of Swedish flowers on stamps for PostNord Sverige AB, Scandinavian postal service, and several private commissions and collaborations.
