Jacky Jousson SBA
Biography
I am a Frenchman born in 1951, living in the region of the Charente in South-West France. I share my life with Roselyne, with whom I enjoy playing classical guitar duos. After finishing my university studies in Literature at the University of Bordeaux, I returned to my first passions: photography, painting and drawing. Apart from 15 years when I worked as an artist in the field of cartoon animation I have been a freelance illustrator. I work for the Press, for publishers and in advertising as well as executing commissions for connoisseurs of my work. Passionate about the natural world, I have specialised in natural history, and especially in botany. I take great pleasure in exhibiting my work at the Society of Botanical Artists, of witch I have been a member since 2002.
