Jackie Gethin SBA
Biography
Jackie Gethin completed her art foundation course at Southampton College of Art and then followed this with a three-year Industrial Ceramics Course at Bournemouth and Poole College of Art. After a job in a pottery she became self employed to concentrate on her art and has been painting flowers, birds and animals ever since.
She has been a member of the SBA since 1987 and has been the Honorary Secretary since 2002.
Jackie exhibits regularly at her local gallery, Francis Iles of Rochester in Kent and has undertaken many commissions for the Medici Card Company.
