In 1988 Carole was elected to membership to the Society of Botanical Artists and has exhibited them over the following years at various venues, including The Mall Galleries and Central Hall, Westminster. As well as this, Carole has exhibited at other venues including the Turner Gallery, Denver USA; the Guildhall and Alexandra Palace, London and many other galleries in the UK. Since becoming a member of the SBA Carole has had many of her paintings published as fine art prints, greetings cards and other forms of media. In 1991, she was commissioned by Compton and Woodhouse to depict the story of the old roses for the Royal National Rose Society using roses from the Queen Mother's Garden at the Garden of the Rose, St. Albans. This work was initially reproduced on Coalport China as a limited edition collectors item, and then as six fine art limited edition prints. Carole work appears in The Art of Botanical Illustration and The Watercolour Artist's Flower Sketch Book.
In 1995 Carole won 'The Founder Presidents Honour' award presented by Suzanne Lucas, Founder President of 'The Society of Botanical artists', for the best painting in the annual SBA exhibition.
During the past eight to ten years, Carole has been sharing her expertise by becoming a teacher, both within formal adult education and taking small groups privately in her own home, teaching her own techniques, including one-day workshops on specific subjects.
